What is Entertainment?
It is an activity that is diverting and that holds the attention of the public.  Entertainment and talent compliments each other. You have to be talented before you can become an entertainer.

Now what is Talent?
Talent means the skill that someone has quite naturally to do something that is hard. Someone who has talent is able to do something without trying hard. It is an ability that someone is born with. People may have talent for music, dancing, acting, sport or other skills. Someone who has talent is talented:
When I say someone is “born with a talent”. It doesn’t necessarily mean that the person will be perfect in all that he does, if someone has talent they still have to work very hard if they want to be very good at something. Some people become quite good at what they do even if they do not have much talent, but if they are willing to work very hard at the skill the sky will be their limit. Some people “waste their talent” they have talent but do not work hard at it; they do not “use their talent”. Most talented Musician, actors today have gone through one phase of training to another in other for them to discover who there really are. Going on set and the director give the command and you deliver your line that does not really end there. Or rather when you go into the studio and you come up with a nice music that does not still ends there.
There is a wide range of difference between an inborn talent and a learned talent. An inborn talent is your God gift natural talent. While a learned talent is what you are not used to but you wish you are in that area so you go and learn it. Like in Nollywood if you want to be a good actor and you are sure you can act. I mean you have the talent of acting you don’t necessarily have to work hard on that area anymore. All you need do is get trained by one of the pioneers in the industry or attend a good workshop or rather go to a good film school and last and the most important you must have passion for what you do. Don’t go into the movie industry because every dick and harry is going there. Don’t go there because you want to be a Genevieve Nnaji or an Omotola. Only go there if you have got all it takes to be in the industry. Popular Actor like Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jolade Ekehinde, kate Henshaw Nuttal, Joke Silva, Patience Ozokwor, Olu Jacob, Pete Edochie and the rest of them Have all paid their dues. If you rush into the movie or music industry per say you will definitely rush out because there are scavengers there, always on the look out for all this wanna be to devour.
